How many properties do you own? How long have you been investing? What is your plan after you have significant equity in all your properties? Sell them, refi them, exchange, or just let them keep cashflowing?
5 years from now my goal is to own 30 sfhs and to put them on 15 year mtgs and at the end of that 15 year span when hopefully most of them are paid off or atleast almost paid off refi everysingle one of them and move that money into apartment complexes where IMO is where the real money is in REI.
Just curious to hear what everyone elses endevours are.
I will probably have rentals. I get 1-2 per year and want to do that for the next 10-15 or 20 years. I like the plan of paying them down, then getting an equity line of credit on some.
I’d like to own about 50 units, no more than 100 or so.
other than my primary, i own one SFH (rental), and one piece of dirt. bought the dirt in 2001. bought the sfh this year.
i plan to own a mix of MFH, SFH. 2007 is the year of the MFH. I need at least two 2-4 unit properties ending 2007… i’m moving slowly and working full time… at some point, i want to only invest in my own business and quit working for big brother.
