How many coats of poly for hardwoods in a rental? I’m thinking 3 or 4. Any insight will be appreciated.
I use two coats of the minwax poly and a top coat with the Varthane diamond strength oil base. I also warn the tenants to put felt under furniture and rubber undermats under the carpet rugs or they’ll pay for the damage.
