How Do You Insert Picture Onto a Post?

My office computer maven and I tried to insert a picture of the cute little adobe house into the blog…

but couldn’t make it work.

Can someone list the correct steps to add a picture?

I use photobucket. When you upload an image on there, you can copy a tag for the image into your post. That’s how I put all those pictures on here of the oil disaster.
The image “code” will look like:
IMG http://URL for your image tag from photobucket /img
Put [ ] brackets like that around the IMG and /img and it will work.
