I am new to rei. I am looking at some foreclosures. How does one go about determining what to sell a residential property for? I have found nothing online that is even close to accurate. Can this info be obtained way besides a realtor and thier mls list? Thanks.
well i would assume you are wanting to know how to find the arv (after repaired value) what it would sell for after you fixed it up they best way the one can go about this is to go to open houses in your farm area get to know the area the market and the prices depending on the area, bedrooms, and baths…secondly i would have an appraiser pull comps most likely your going to use him later anyways for a full appraisel to prove you asking price and if you between what you know about the area and his comps are what you think to be way off i would have a realtor pull some sold comps that have sold in the area within the last couple of months no more then a year with the as close to the same sq ft, bed , baths , and garage if it has it
