A judgment debtor’s real estate is going into foreclosure. As a judgment holder. I have been served and want to answer the summons to protect my interest.
I know that foreclosure sales almost never have excess funds that may be distributed to junior lien holders, but just in case it happens, I want to answer the summons to preserve my entitlement to a share of any excess funds that may be available.
Is there a standard format for an answer in South Carolina? Does anyone have a copy of an answer that you would be willing to email me?
