How can one get a commercial appraisla without using any of their own money?

How would I be able to get commercial property appraisals without using my own money?

Would this be something that I could normally ask an owner to provide using their resources?

Any other ideas?

Hi,

Appraisals? or Comps? I am not sure what you would use a written 50 page appraisal for? What information you get from an appraisal is limiting when trying to make effective decisions based on what is financially happening within a 3 to 5 mile area.

Your reason to buy a commercial property is based on financial factors, your not living in it, and you don’t care whether it’s painted baby blue!!!

If you buy it your lender will want an appraisal done by there appraiser.

An owner of a commercial property is not likely to spend the money to supply you an appraisal! A commercial property appraisal is more expensive than a single family home depending on the type and size commercial property.

Well with non-traditional lenders such as hard money and stuff they seem to want appraisals.

I know that banks have their own appraisers that they use, but unfortunately I have to go through other avenues to get financing.
