Hey there,
Has anyone used these guys, Homevestors (We buy ugly houses) as wholesalers?
Just wondering? Im looking to do a rehab and wanted to know if these guys were a good source of properties as their website claims.
Any comments welcome,
Thanks
I worked for one of the HomeVestors in FLorida for about a year and a half. Every office is different since they are just franchises. They do get some good deals which they wholesale. Usually if there properties have been in there inventory for a long time there is a reason for it.
As with any purchase check them out first, run your own comps and inspect it yourself. If the numbers work then who cares where the property is coming from.
Joe
Thanks for the advice Joe
It’s interesting, but I’ve seen an influx in marketing in my area from these people - both in roadside advertsising (billboards, mainly) to commericals on TV. I was even flipping channels on a sunday morning recently and happened upon a 30min infomercial from them. It just so happens when I saw it the “spokesperson” was saying how people who put up “WE BUY HOUSES” bandit signs usually end up assigning the deals to HomeVestors because they can’t close the deal themself. LOL!
lol… small world realcon, my company owns a franchise here in St. Pete, FL too…
Just like realcon mentioned, depending on the property, their might still be meat left on the bone. Really depends on the individual company.
If they are property heavy right now, they might be a little more open to a deal on the table…
I thought about selling a property to a place like this…how badly do they lowball?
