Home Inspection, Basement Walls

When rehabing a home if it has a basement there are some things you should look for in the basement. The first and usually most obvious is water in basement along walls, This can mean any number of problems, such as clogged or no drain tile around basement. It can also be caused by poor shedding of water off of roof. If these problems are not fixed in time your walls will begin to bow and buckle and eventually cave in and cost you thousands of dollars to repair. So when inspecting your home be sure to pay close attention to this potential cash cow.
