How can i stop ths tax lien forclosure other than paying the back taxes? are there any other options?
In IL, you have to pay back taxes with interest agreed at the tax auction. State gives a little more than two years to pay the taxes with interest, if it does not happen, property goes to the entity who has been paying taxes. Hope this helps.
