Hi guys! I am looking to hire someone to put up bandit signs for me once a week for only about 3-5 hours. I want to do this the right way and wanted some advise on how to pay him ( I know a little about 1099s) and not worry about breaking the law. Also would like to know how to protect myself in case he got hurt doing the job. I currently have a single member LLC ( I know about lack of asset protection with this type of llc) but don’t have any liability insurance. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Create and have him sign a independant contractor agreement and pay him on a 1099!

Yes, provided the legal terminology is inserted in the agreement it makes him or her completely responsible for there own risk's!
