I went to record a deed from a sub 2 here in virginia and the lady was gonna charge me like if I had bought the property. I explaind to her that it was a revocable land trust and then she said that it would only be $22 to record it (which is the right amount). Then after I got over that hurdle she told me that I had to put a virginia section code on the deed. Is anyone familiar with what she is saying or is she blowing smoke. thanks
