Without fully knowing what I was getting into, I signed a purchase agreement on a house that was in foreclosure and is a short sale.
We waited 2 months to get Wells Fargo approval and now they are telling us it was just preliminary approval. My agent tells me that a BPO was done and they apparently agreed with it. We are just 4 business days from closing on the property and they have not submitted the HUD, which is necessary to close.
They do not return phone calls, they never do what they say they are going to do when they say it. We have quickly learned that short sales are not the best move for a family with 4 kids that needs to know if they have a home to live in or not.
I am so fed up and stressed out I want to just walk… Am I obligated legally to stay in this?
