Has anyone ever bought a 2 family house and lived in one side? I’d be interesting in hearing about any success or horror stories you may have about doing this. I’m thinking about doing this to get my first rental property while also getting my first place.
I don’t personally but I know people that do or did it. It is depending on your personality and tenants. Some people are OK or even like it. If you are OK with tenants knocking on your door asking if you can take a look at something for them during your dinner time, you may be fine to have tenants next to you.
