Another year has come and gone. And wow the changes in the past year as far as R.E.I. and the world is concerned. We have seen new laws and guidelines and have had to adapt to the changes. As well as hurricanes and tornado's hitting all over the U.S.A. So I wanted to start this topic to see what others are thankful for. As for me I am thankful to have my health but more important the health of my Family and friends. We are all in a wonderful Country and there is hope for everyone!!
And for everyone that can not be with there family for one reason or another I just had a great friend of mine send me this e-mail as he knows my family is in Alabama it made me smile so I will pass it along!

Your health and your families health is very important.
But, I would like to touch on real estate in general as a great Thanks.
Ask yourself this:
Are other people thankful that you are in real estate?
Are you constantly being “Thanked” for helping others achieve their goals?
Do you thank god for your success?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is a “people” business. I am thankful that I believed in RE enough to become successful by helping others be successful. I am thankful that my clients believed in me enough to let me help them. I know that I do the right thing for my clients, and for that, I am thankful.
You know Chris I could not have said it better myself this world is nothing more then people connecting with people! If you have two people whom like each other and like the ideas they share you have a deal if they do not like each other and or like the ideas there is nothing left! So often we live in a world where technology has surpassed humanity and there is no need to to do as much I can now send my friends an e-card so why go buy one sign it and send it! I can e-mail them so why sit down and hand write a letter. I can call them so why go see them! So I am going to shut off my computer now and I am going to go see people that I have not seen in awhile! And I am going to write a letter to every person that I have e-mailed more then 20 times just to say hi! But most important I am going to spend the day with the ones I love my wife and kids no phones no e-mails no television just one on one time with them, And I encourage everyone to do the same. If you are alone for the holiday remember there are others out there as well feeling the same way call your local nursing home and see if there is someone there that needs a friend they will let you in to go see someone I did that for 3 years before I got married go to the homeless shelter volunteer do something that will make you happy and feel good inside!
