Good Site for Foreclosure listings?

Can anyone suggest a good website or source for foreclosure and REO listings that doesnt cost a fortune?

Yes, your local newspaper’s web site…in the classifieds…under public notices or legal notices. I use them with very good success.

I have seen a few, but our town is small with only 50K full time residence. On some websites like RealtyTrac I can view a list of dozens it seems (no details unless you sign up).

Try your county courthouse. I have compared their list with the lists on the foreclosure site and the court house records are always much better.

OK! Will give it a try! Anyone can look at that info correct?

realtytrac sucks…its outdated and really doesnt give you enough information…sometime you get the lien holders info, sometime you dont…they do not even always have an address or owners name

check with the local title companies…many of them have a list they can send to you weekly or even daily…

Is there a website that is good? We have so many title cos in town and would like to know about all of them and not be limited to what one or two title cos can get me.

Good Morning

I am new to investing but have been researching on foreclosures and pre- foreclosures. I have found that netronline.com has been a good source to find these listings. Simply select your state and county from the public records search and see if your county clerk has a searchable site. Hope that helps and good luck

What about http://www.foreclosure.com/ ? It looks very good but looks aren’t always enough. Anybody had any experience with this one?

We have no confidence with information marketed on the internet. Public records might be the best place and don’t forget to simply call and ask the banks and lenders. Some allow access to their REO holdings on line. Although banks have learned to manage their REO departments for profit rather than recovery, many will provide you with a list of properties.

Try this website: www.searchsystems.net. It will allow you to access all public sites. Pick your state and then go into the county lists and look for property sites. Some, like counties in NJ, are not so accessible but some, like those in North Carolina and Florida, will actually allow you to overlay delinquent tax, bankruptcy, lis pendis designations over plot maps through their GIS systems.

In our area, our best opportunities come by forging bank relationships with our local and regional banks.

I use foreclosureS.com because they are located here in Sacramento, CA. I took classes from this site and trust their information. Beware the pretenders like realtytrac.com. Information is old and outdated.

foreclosure.com is a really good site go information and fairly accurate.

Thanks u guys… this info. is really helpful.

I LOVE THIS SITE!!!

I agree. The only one I use. Remeber, most will always have some old listings still showing active. I get calls on properties that sold over 6 months ago from a lot of these sites. But, foreclosure.com has seemed to be pretty reliable, plus they do have a great pre-foreclosure section that I utilize often.

$10 bucks a week for foreclosure.com?

Sounds right. I think I pay $39 monthly, or something close.

Gotcha, Thanks.
