Anyone know of any good books on buying property to rent (be it straight out purchase, REO, Foreclosure etc.) and what to expect when renting, the in’s and outs? Thanks

Actually, you are asking for many different books. Buying foreclosures is it’s own class, etc.

I purchased and use “The Landlord Survival Guide” written by John Adams, as my factbook for landlording – it’s easy to read and understand, it covers everything and I like his straight forward, professional manner. You can get an idea from his site www.money99.com.

There you will also find wonderful information on purchasing foreclosures, preforeclosures, etc. I’ve also taken several of his classes on the purchase of foreclosures and investment properties in Georgia.
