Im 21 and looking to start buying, fixing up, and selling houses. (In New Jersey) My father is a contractor, and my girlfriend’s father works in real estate. I would like to try to put something together but need a way to finance it. I was hoping to get some advice on getting a business loan or how to get government grants (if they are even offered). Grants are a funny thing from what I have found and for the most part not to hard to find for many things but real estate is not one of those things. The best way I have found in the early going is to look for a small business grant or something like that, however like you I am new at this so just snooping around looking and will let you know if I find something.
I am sure the vets in here would have more and better things to share with you…
