Do you think if a bank requires listing agreement that we could list ourselves and they accept this??
Interesting question, but I would have to say no. I’ve had the lenders call the listing agent before and drill them about the listing. Asking all kinds of questions, that unless you are (or have been) in the industry (like a Realtor or Broker) you more than likely will not know the answers off the top of your head while on the phone with them.
Then again… as long as the property is listed on the MLS the lender might not care who listed it…a Realtor or the Homeowner. It might be worth a shot.
Also, iggy’s wouldn’t work for everyone because they are not in every state. But they don’t look like too bad of an option for the FSBO minded homeowner wanting to get on the MLS.

I did a Google search on him and his site looked a typical guru promotion. I don’t know if his stuff is good or BS, but his tactics are the same as the BS gurus.
Does it matter if your listing is FREE and on MLS along with 1000 other websites that the MLS listings are on? My builder friend sells all his own houses using iggys and sometimes he gets buyers that were searching the internet with no realtor and he pays no realtor fees.
