Sometimes there is information sent to your rent house that is spam for you. This could be pre-approved credit card applications etc. Once I rent a house I send in a change of address form to the post office with my name redirecting mail for me to my post office box looking for things that should not go to the house. Once I found that the property tax bill went to one of my houses by mistake. Maybe I might find a utility bill or something like that. But at least it was not what happened to this poor woman in the link below.
