Probably better asked in the Asset Protection / Legal Forum, but here goes:
Here is a link to the state filing fees and other info about LLC’s by state:

I am in no way affiliated with this company. Just searched it out for you. Several websites list amounts for filing Articles of Organization (what you’ll need to file w/ the Secretary of State’s office to officially form the LLC) by state. Different websites list different amounts. The best way to find out is to go to the Sec of State website for the state you’re interested in Incorporating. Also check out how much the annual fee is too.
You should have an Operating Agreement that states how your LLC will do business. Banks will want this when you get loans from them.
My lawyer will set up an LLC for about $400. You can file the Articles of Organization yourself. They are simple forms to fill out. You need to have a good Operating Agreement. That’s where you should spend your money.
Filing fee should only be $50-$200, depends on what state you are looking to form in?
