Foreign End Buyers

Has anyone marketed and closed with overseas / foreign end buyers ?

any pointers on how this was done ? what form of marketing ?

I personally have not, but my good friend brings in a lot of foreign investors from Asia on small-medium sized deals ($1-15 million).

Honestly these types of investors is almost always about personal relationship and word of mouth. He visits these investors every month or so for a few days and is usually introduced to others.

How can a company begin those relationships with these investors?
