Foreclosures in the Dallas Area

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to search for foreclosed properties that is not totally time consuming. I have heard that realtytrac and other such sites have a lot of stale information and are not worth the money. Is that the case for all of these pay sites? What about the government foreclosure website? Any luck there? Very new at this game and hoping to get some pointers. Of course maybe I am wrong in thinking that foreclosed properties would be a good starting point for locating potentially valuable properties. Valuable meaning “flip potential” and rental income potential…

my Dallas area realtor has a search feature on his website. bryanbrickman.com
it doesn’t give a lot of info, but it’s a start. I don’t know where his info originates from.

a mortgage broker could get you the monthly foreclosure and preforclosure list, if you taked sweet to him. maybe took him to lunch.

You can get it from http://www.flsonline.com, http://www.rexreport.com might have it but not sure
