I’m just getting started in the investing game and I’m about to spend some money on marketing. I want to do short sales and I think I’ll send some direct mail to a foreclosure list. Does anyone know if a letter or post card is better for this type of marketing? Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
I have good luck with hand-written addresses on the envelope. I pay a person a few hundred dollars per closed deal, and she happily stuffs them and addresses them for me. The envelopes are addressed to the home-owner’s name, not a generic “Current Home Owner”.
