in mn its about 2K, many other states are similar
attorneys who handle foreclosure (most major markets have boiler room type operations whereas a named attorney has a staff pumping out hundreds of foreclosure files per month) negotiate prices and terms with the nationwide lenders
an exception would be some sort of sticky foreclosure such as one related to post closing title issues, fraud or bankruptcy, these may cost a bit more
