Flooring for doublewide??

Help! This is my first rehab on a mobile home and I am baffled?? I was told by a local parts supplier to use 14 ft wide vinyl flooring to eliminate seams but it doesnt appear to exist in the Dallas, TX. area. Any ideas or alternatives would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Best site I have seen for mobiles is this one.

Forget the vinyl. Home Depot sells Dupont flooring that looks like ceramic tile but is actually a laminate like pergo. The stuff “floats” on a foam padding that is already applied to the back, it’s about 2 feet wide by 4 feet long and looks amazing when installed. It’s and easy do it yourself and you’ll save a lot over pro installed vinyl. It snaps together without nails or glue all you do is cut it with a table saw or miter saw.

Have you had pretty good luck with this product? I’ve seen it at HD and it does look pretty good. Does it come with a warranty?

I have used this product and can tell you it is GREAT. I never liked the Pergo/laminate flooring, always thought it looked fake. This product however is really nice. You get the durability of laminate but because it’s not trying to look like wood it ends up looking much more high end.
If you look closely at the product the seams are made close to the tile not in the middle of the grout line which makes your finished floor look like real tile. It has the same warranty their laminate flooring has. Try it, you’ll like it.

I used some “peel and stick” tiles in a kitchen on a low end rehab that looked pretty good at a qucik glance but you had to be real carefull to get the tiles butted tightly…for the price (about $1/sq. ft.), it was fine for what I was doing…I only paid $48K for the property. This sounds like a better solution for something a little higher end. I am looking at a 4-plex and this might work.
