Hello I’m a newbie from New York I was wondering what is the best software for evaluating a possible flip. I’ve came across shark bait (399.00). I was wondering is there anything cheaper that provides the same vital analysis.
Why do you need software? I use a four function calculator, and I would bet that 99% of the investors on this board do the same.
I actually use a Hewlitt-Packard 10BII Business calculator that does mortgage calculations…$30 at Best Buy…money well spent and still a far cry from $400…

Good point, Keith. I wasn’t thinking of that since I use an online calculator for amortization.
At my desk(s), I usually use the on-line calculator at Russ Whitney’s website…but when I’m out looking at property, I keep the HP in my briefcase…

At first I used a single column spreadsheet, now I just do it in my head…at the property.
Does the software company pay your loss if the flip goes flop?
use the 399 on marketing instead.
