FIRE on the Trailer!!

The setout was scheduled for friday, don’t have to do that now. When I showed up just after the fire was out they were in custody for arson. But just before I left the police let them go. The neighbors told me there was a wild fight between her (my tenant) and two guys. Both guys were not on the lease and harden criminals the police told me. I suggested to the police we use them for target practice. I couldn’t get them to agree. At least no one is pointing the finger at me for bad wiring or something stupid like that. Their story to the police was an EX Boyfriend set fire for revenge, but he was currently unaccounted for. I have no faith in in the city of raleigh police. They represent incompetence at it’s finest. I do have faith in the State Farm Team assigned to this case. I am impressed with them so far. I think they will get them.

As for me??
Insurance coverage was 10K and loss of rents.
I paid 300 dollars for the thing last year (abandoned).
I put around 3K into it though, and about a month of my time.

That’s awful John. Hopefully State Farm will treat you right on the deal. How much do you estimate it will take to clean up the lot? Do you plan on moving another trailer in or just selling the lot?

It looks like the scumbag was a proficient arsonist. I hope they get the dirtbag and that he spends a long time in prison. Let us know how State Farm does.

Good Luck,

Mike

I’ve been told around 1500 to cut it up and haul it off. I’m not too sure where i’m going to go from here with this.
