Can you search the tax records for the county where the property is located? If the records are available online it shouldn’t be a problem… Good luck.
The tax records will usually give you the out of state owner’s mailing address, but not phone number. For that, you can go to a site like 411.com to find their phone number.
Would you always travel to the properties before making any transactions, or is there a better method for doing the long distance deals?
