I have been researching forever…you know those posts from the various regulars with the titles, “info for new folks that won’t do anything with it”, etc…I was one of those folks.
There’s a local wholesaler that is very active. He has spoke at a couple investing forums locally in Houston. I have personally been on his buyer’s list for about 3 years. So, I see the deals he gets and there’s a lot of them.
I finally started emailing him asking him some specific questions. Thanks to this forum here, it finally lit something in me to figure all of this out. He offered to mentor me, so I am thrilled. I am hoping to close a deal sometime before the end of the year.
Some may not feel this is significant, but for me, it’s a huge milestone.
I am posting this for three reasons:
One, to say thanks to all the regulars around here that are offering their time and information selflessly.
Two, to show that things can happen if you keep at it. Don’t assume no one will help you and don’t be afraid to ask (especially on here).
Three, if anyone is an active investor in the Houston area, send me a message so that I can send you deals when I start getting to the meat of all of this…haha!
