Are these restrictions on FHA mortgages that do not allow one to setup a rent-to-own on their home? A seller thought so but I suspect they are confusing it with something else they read.
FHA has a one year owner occupancy requirement. No restriction against selling on lease-option.
We have purchased several homes this way. The only way FHA will know is if you say something to them. I believe you will be ok.
