Fellow Landlords - Rooms to Share?????

I was wondering if any of the landlords on this forum buy properties (SFH or TH) with the intention of renting rooms out seperately. For example renting a 3BR 2.5 BA with a finished basement to 3 different people.

Or do you think this is a bad idea and it’s better to have one family or group rent the entire place???

OPINIONS please…
