I’m a beginner in Spokane, Washington, and new to this list.
A house scheduled to be auctioned on December 3rd, has a federal tax lien of $13,500 against the owner. I was told that if the Trustee notifies the IRS when the house sells, the IRS has 120 days to redeem the property, and that they never do.
The house is a fixer, so waiting 120 days for clear title would be OK. Does any one have any knowledge or experience with this? Thanks.
