Here’s a good one.
My father-in-law has been rehabbing a house for the past few weeks. It’s finished and ready to rent out. When they originally cleaned out the house, they couldn’t get a door to open on a small cabinet in the basement. Today, they pryed it open.
Tucked back in the cabinet was an old suitcase. As they carried it up the stairs for better light to see what was in it, it began to fall apart. Grenades fell out! Not knowing what they had or what to do with it, they called the city police.
Before long, they had the city police, the sherrif dept., the state police, the fire department, and the bomb squad! The house was taped off and the neighbors were vacated from their homes!
Turns out it was smoke gernades along with some blasting caps and ammunition.
Oh yeah, the city building inspector was there too. He’s going to be the new tennant!
Good times.
