It would be a great resource if we could have a couple pros take the time to explain the different processes (wholesaling, assignments, double closings, forms needed and used for each process, wholesaling using a lease option, etc.) from beginning to end.
I know it is time consuming but it would be a priceless resource for new people coming to this forum.
:biggrin Just a thought - if you agree with me, post here and make this a hot topic so that it will stand out and maybe we can persuade some pros to actually do it!!
Oh man, you are asking us to write up some books and courses when there are plenty out there already. Its not just so easy to go do this then do this then do this. Your’re best bet would be to buy some books and a course or two, then come back to here to get fine tuned.
Just my two cents. herbster
No Herbster, no books! And as we ALL know, there are a lot of very good trainings out there but every single training program out there leaves you with bits and peices of missing information and almost always, the bits and peices you are missing are the most crucial to the business.
I just think it would be nice to give an overall description of the processes for people who are not really sure where or when to begin and what their next step should be. I tried to elaborate a little on the wholesaling processes in another thread and I think it really helped some very confused people!
I just love helping others and would do it myself if I was a pro in all those areas. I am only very familiar with wholesaling though so my expertise is very limited at this point!!
I am so sorry to all the very confused newbies out there, I know it is scary and frustrating when you need such crucial answers and you need them NOW!! I am working on it and rooting for you guys!!
I will help anyone that I can with any information that I have!!
Agree with Herbster. I bought Steve Cook’s wholesaling course last year and the rest is history. You need to get some education through local investors, courses, mentorship, etc. etc. It would take light years to post how we all do business.
I would say take a night and read all the posts on here. There are a lot of guys/girls giving up great information on all techniques of investing. I think that your asking for is already here…
Okay people calm down, I wasn’t asking for myself and I wasn’t trying to have anybody “do MY work”. My work is done.
I just thought it would be easier to have the information together in one place rather than spread out through the thousands of threads. I just thought it might make things easier on the newbies. I wasn’t asking for me personally.
No worries, I guess people will just have to find information the same way we all have done in the past, by searching through and piecing things together.
Who is this directed towards? What do you mean? What you wrote is kind of confusing. Do you need help with something? I would be happy to help if that’s what you need.
Going through all these darn threads can be painful. lol
I’d suggest you check out the Real Estate Articles that REI Club.com has posted in the Main Site Navigation to the upper left. You can learn alot from reading articles that other “gurus” and top real estate investor have written. If you want A-Z, you may get it in a couple of them, but I’d recommend partnering up with someone who’s been in the game and is still active or buying a good real estate course.
I agree that it can be very painful!! Thanks for the tips though and believe me, I am trying REAL hard to partner up with someone who’s been in the game…
