I’m a little ticked off.
We got 1 written offer and we negotiated. We’re 15K apart and the main difference if the cost of Realtor fees. My Realtor won’t negotiate and we’re already going to take a loss on the property. Any way to ditch the Realtor so we can sell the house?
Your Realtor probably made you sign a piece of paper stating your were using him/her exclusively for a period of time. That’s your contract with them.
Wait out the contract.
Real Estate Broker Fees/Commissions are negotiable. If your Realtor is working in your best interest, he/she should be willing to negotiate their fees. Of course, the offer needs to be comparable to what the properties are selling in the area. If it’s a low offer, then your Realtor shouldn’t have to lower their fees. Good Luck!
