Hello all, Im new here. But I am trying to learn Wholesaling. One of the things to know is, how to estimate repair costs on a property. Does anyone know how to estimate the basic repair costs prices for various things in the house that may need to be repaired? Thanks.
Call a GC or general contractor to make an estimate on the repairs on your property. They’ll do it for free if they think they might get the rehab job. If you just want an repair estimate to use, sometimes they’ll do an estimate for a small fee, $50 or so.
Unless you’ve done a lot of rehabbing yourself, consult a professional. Hire a property inspector and follow him thru the house while he does his thing. Property inspectors are priceless when it comes to noticing all the little things about a property.
