Double escrow & Assignment

Is there a difference between a double escrow deal and a assignment deal?

Nick, yes there is. A double escrow is when there are 2 escrows. This is usually an A to B, B to C type of sale. An assignment is when you have a contract to purchase a property and are selling that contract for an assignment fee. You are assigning your contract to an end buyer for a fee. So if you have a deal tied up for $10,000, and you sell the deal to an end buyer for $12,500.00, your assignment fee would be $2,500. I hope this helps.

It helps very much, thank you for your response
