I have been told that my dramorrproperties.com domain name is to complicated. Should I change it? If so which of these three do you like best (my target market is NY,NJ and CT, I specialize in Lease Purchae/RTO) Also, if I change the website can I keep my email address @dramorrproperties.com or do I need to change the email address along with the domain name?
you need your most popular keyword in your url.
renttoownnewjersey.com
leasepurchasenewjersey.com
lease purchase isn’t a well known term. I would check how often this term is searched for and adjust accordingly.
I think you’ll have more seo success using leaseoptionnewjersey, or maybe leaseoptiontristate.com or renttoowntristate. Test them and see what happens.
I’m not an expert on this, I just know about urls and their seo connections.
I don’t like the rest of them, without proving they contain good keywords
You can use any title you want on your landing pages after they click on the url link, so pick a url that you can promote to the top of the rankings.
The content on your website is what will give you good traffic.

Domain names are cheap. You can still own the own you have and buy others. Go to an SEO specialist and find out what they think. I have five different domain names. Just make certain they end in .com and nothing else. You can forward all of the names to one website and it works great and forwarding is free. I use godaddy.com and they give you cheaper rates if you buy more than one name.
Rudy, that book is 800 friggin’ pages!!! :shocked
Great, helpful post.
There is a website called Odesk where you can hire specialists for your marketing. All you have to do is advertise that you need a website, or name, or whatever geared to real estate and you will get numerous applicants for the job. The people there are professional freelancers that can help you with domain names, marketing, SEO content, whatever you need.
I see that you’ve changed your domain name already. I think that one is decent. Your site could use some SEO work, though. Especially the title tags for your pages. Your home page’s title tag is just “Welcome”. That’s not going to help you if you’re trying to attract people through search engines.
The design on your site is attractive and professional. It seems like the parts that would be attractive to the seller are a little low on the page, but they do show up at least partially “above the fold” (without having to scroll down).
I notice that you’re telling people up front about the lease option arrangement. Does work well for you? I think I’ve seen some other investors do that, though others don’t specifically mention it up front until they’ve received the seller’s info and later tactfully and carefully explain the process in a way that won’t scare them off.
