Does anyone know regarding L/O

I’m curious to find if anyone has any experience with a situation where a tenant’s occupancy is governed by a month to month lease, and a condition develops which “materially affects the safety and well-being of a normal tenant”, are you obligated to remedy the situation or can you simply opt to terminate the lease as of the final day of the lease at the end of the month?

Please cite relevant statutes where possible.

Thanks

The relevant statutes might be your local landlord tenant law. Of course, the building inspector could get involved and cite a code violation serious enough to withdraw your certificate of occupancy. Now you have to displace your tenant, and that might become expensive.

Why not just pay the tenant to relocate?

Not quite sure why you would give a tenant-buyer a month-to-month lease in your lease option deal, so perhaps you could clarify your question.
