Does anyone know how long it is from the time the case list is filed to the auction in NJ?
I am thinking about Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
Or maybe you know of a way I can look that up? I haven’t seen anything online about it.

In New Jersey, it typically takes about 10-12 months before a home is foreclosed on. I have a listing in Hudson County that the homeowner has not paid thier mortgage since March 2007. The homeowner was served in August 2007. I spoke with the attorney’s last week and was told that the sale date is still, at the very earliest, several months away. They are very backed up and it could still be several months before a date is scheduled.
