Do you charge extra rent or fees for a septic system? (To help cover cost for tank pumping etc)

Our local city charges less for water bill if you’re on a septic.
or more if you’re on sewer (this goes on your tenats water bill)

Ps. what is the avg cost to pump a tank, and how often do you do it? (even move out?)
Here folks are advertising $199 thru $299 for a 1000gallon pump out.

Rent should always be market rent. Around here septic is not a big deal. It’s an expense if you have property in the country.

However you rationalize the septic fees, your rent should be market no matter what and you can’t charge extra for something a tenant doesn’t care about.
