Hello,

So I’m beginning to invest…actually today I just finished up all the financing paperwork and such…so I’m really JUST beginning.

I’ve been looking at purchasing a duplex or 4-plex in Austin, TX. For the most part, I’ve just been contacting realtors looking for good cashflowing properties and searching Craigslist because I don’t live in TX. But after reading info on this forum…I’m wondering if there are other people that might be able to find me the property that I’m looking to buy at a better price!?

So considering that I’m doing traditional financing…(my guy told me that we can close in about 2-3 weeks if I find something that needs to close quickly)…should I be contacting someone else to find me a property??

Why not,You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.It all comes down to if the numbers work. Just be careful if you use a wholesaler and they insist that you use their lender.

Most of the people who place the “I buy houses” ads in the paper are also wholesalers. You can start by calling some of them.
