I had a contingency in my contract that states, subject to buyers partners approval. Can i get my Earnest money from the seller and back out? Thanks
Do you have a partner? If not, how do you know that your imaginary partner didn’t approve it?

I wouldn’t have giving them (the seller that is) the Emoney in the first place. I would have written both the sellers name and my attorney’s name of the Emoney check and then leave the check with my attorney until the deal closed. Make sure to tell the seller where the check will be and outline this n your contract as well. This way YOU are alsways in control!!! :biggrin
