Do appraisers have access to the MLS?

I heard you have to be a realtor before an appraiser. That makes not sense. Do appraiser have access to the MLS?

Depends on your state & local associations as they ususally own the MLS data.

Here they do have access, but its limited to sold stuff only.

In our board appraisers can become mls members and get access to the mls.

Appraisers join the board and get MLS access here too.
