I seen many people suggest direct mailing to find leads on possible wholesale properties, can someone give me an idea on how to obtain a list of properties abandon, unoccupied, and etc. ? Also what to send to these potential leads? I appreciate all your responds
Best way to get a list is to make your own. Drive for YUCKS. Find an area of town that you want to work and start working it. Drive, walk and talk to neighbors.
You can mail post cards, letters or greeting cards.
USPS.com is a neat system to do mass mailing for less than .30 per copy.
There are lists available for just about anything you need.
Here in Chicago I know can get lists from services for
Probates
Foreclosures
Bankruptcies
Divorces
etc…
So from there, I just need to pick a target area and start the marketing campaign.
Go to a local REI Club meeting and find out what lists are available.
