Depends how directed your direct mail is. I think 3 or 4 times a month is too frequent. I’d go for twice a month at the most then once a month for a while, then once every 6 weeks, then once every 2 months, then realize you’re digging in a dry hole.
Last thing you want to do is annoy the recipients.
I’m targeting pre-foreclosures. I have a list of everyone in a few counties who have had a foreclosure filed on their property. The reason I’m doing it all in 1 month, is because it takes about 6 weeks until auction and I get the list anywhere from 3-7 days after the notice has been filed. How many times do you hit people in this situation with this timeline?
