Direct mail merge

Just bought a list from listsource for absentee owners. Lots of owners own multiple properties. If I am using click2mail mail merge, do I send a postcard for every address I am intested in purchasing? I can only include one address per postcard.

I asked listsource to only give me properties with a mortgage at least 10 years old. They did but after i received the list, I noticed there was another column that had dates when they re-finaced! This mean less equity! UGH! The listsource sales person could have let me in on this knowing my objective. This will be a costly mistake made with limited marketing dollars.

The post office would have a hard time delivering one postcard to more then one address… :frowning:

It is easy to use excel and word for your mail merge program… Here is a link to instructions and handouts from a free and clear BC that may help… http://www.yellow-letters.com/all.html

BTW the info is about a third of the way down

Good Luck

You could probably right a macro in excel that would take out all the duplicate mailing addresses or names. Also an easy way to send out postcards and just upload a mailing list is Click2mail.com.

I used click2. Some property owners have more than one property that fits my criteria. My postcard says “I am interested in buying your property at _______” I can’t list five different property addresses here with click2. That was my question - what to do in this case.

whoops, sorry about that I must have glazed right over that part of your question.

I’ve gotten advice in the past saying that I shouldn’t limit my mailer to a property address. You could be missing out on other deals that a particular seller is looking to sell.
