I buy to fix and hold. I find it realtively EASY to do so but I have fairly rigid standards as far as size, cost, area, etc. Because we do all the work ourselves (and enjoy doing it that way), the biggest constraint we have is time.

I did all the work myself until I figured out how much $$$ it cost me! I look at it like this I love fixing things on the other hand I was not looking for my next deal so it cost me 30-40k to fix it up myself! On the other hand I am going to start doing fixers myself now to occupy time! That way you don’t have to have me on here all day!!! LOL
If you start doing fix-up Robb, who’s going to answer the hard questions around here?

I have a hard question…why are some of these posts so “wide” all of a sudden? I have never liked scrolling side to side…just a minor pet peeve, hoping someone knows if this can be fixed, thanks.

Mine is exactly the width of my screen…you might send a note to Tim Randle…he’s the “Head muckety-muck Moderator/Guru”. If he can’t fix it, he’ll get the tech folks to look at it.
