Hello everyone, i had a potential tennant that put 1600 partialy down as a deposit (total dep was 3000) to lease to own for my property…she said she would have the remaining payment 2 weeks later, one week later after she gave me the 1600 she called and said she would not have the money until the 3rd week so i said ok…i then recieved a call a week later from her telling me she was not gonna have the money untill the fourth week so i was upset but i had alot of time invested in her and really didnt want to go through the whole application process again…anywhoo…i said ok last time have the money please, the following day she calls again and says she dosent want the property anymore…now she wants to go to court because i refuse to give her the 1600, i missed out on three other possible tennants during this time…
Am i wrong for keeping her money?
