I haven’t been on the boards in a couple months or so but I remember one of the more frequent posters on here mentioned that they were from Denver. I’ve actually been presented with a business opportunity in Denver and was thinking about moving out there. Anyone have any information on the real estate market out there? In particular investment properties and average costs of homes, condos, rents and whatnot? Thanks.

Denver’s market is estimated to go up by 40% over the next 5 years and I think it is the easiest place to find deals I have been laying low not doing much this summer I got back to work and found 10 deals last week! Some of them at a 42% LTV. This is a great place!

I live in the Denver market, and while certain neighborhoods have certainly taken off, (Highlands, Park Hill South, Castle Rock) just to name a few, This market has been just dead for a while now. I know that is usually the time to find great deals, but it’s nice to time that out with the market on the verge of taking off. The lightrail project also will make for some fantastic opportunities down the road, but I am curious, what information do you have that allows you to believe Denver is staring at 40% appreciation? I don’t doubt you, just always like to tap into others information streams. I know our economy here is no juggernaut. Any further info? And did you mean 40% growth, or 40% appreciation?
